In his new role, Sam’s key priority will be to help GreenPalm members to get the most out of the programme, be they certificate sellers, buyers or other stakeholders. He will provide advice, administrative support and technical back up.
Bob Norman, General Manager of the GreenPalm programme said…

“The great news is that GreenPalm is continuing to grow, as our ability to support smallholders, who would otherwise have no access to buyers who would be prepared to pay more for sustainably produced material, is more widely understood.
“We therefore welcome Sam to the team, and look forward to working with him to provide an ever better service to all of our stakeholders, and thereby continue to make a real impact on the drive to promote certified, sustainable palm oil.”
Sam graduated with a degree in Criminology from the University of York in 2015. He then worked in an accountancy practice as a trainee auditor. When he spotted our job vacancy, he realised that he wanted more variety in his professional life, and that it would be good to be work on something more meaningful.
He is now enjoying getting to know our members and stakeholders, and enjoying the challenge of getting to grips with the complexities of the palm oil sector and its supply chains.
