What is GreenPalm ?  

GreenPalm operates the book & claim supply chain option for the RSPO, since 2008 we have traded over 2.5million certificates allowing RSPO (Roundtable for Sustainable Palm Oil) certified producers to earn over $17m in premiums. 

So how does it work? Well very simply palm producers can convert certified material into certificates, 1 certificate = 1 tonne of palm oil. Final product manufactures who use palm oil can then cover their usage by purchasing certificates up to the amount of palm they wish to make claims against, all of the trading is done via the GreenPalm Market.

Joining GreenPalm

If you would like to join GreenPalm then you will need to complete three pieces of information:

1. Company application form
2. Signed copy of the membership rules
3. Signed copy of the brokerage terms & conditions

Once the above has been recevied applications take 5 - 10 working days to process, remember if your're a full RSPO member already then the GreenPalm membership fee of $500 is waivered. Of course you don't have to be a member of the RSPO to join GreenPalm.
